Lighting Track for Retail Chains: One System for Every Store
How retail chains specify one lighting track system for every store: profile, colour, lengths, adapters, packing per store and repeat orders, with a checklist.
"Made in China" covers everything from a workshop that relabels other people's track to a plant that extrudes, wires and tests every length itself. This is what it means at G-Tracks.

G-Tracks lighting track is made in China, in our own factory in Zhongshan, Guangdong. The aluminium profile, the copper conductors, the assembly and an electrical test on every length all happen in the same plant, and orders ship from there. We make lighting track, track accessories and cable tray, and nothing else. That is what "made in China" means here: not a label on someone else's product, but a factory that controls every step that decides how a track performs.
Zhongshan sits in the Pearl River Delta in southern China, and with Guzhen town it is one of the country's main lighting manufacturing areas. For a track maker that matters in practical ways:
| Step | What happens | Why it matters to the buyer |
|---|---|---|
| Profile and finish | Aluminium profiles in black, white or the colour of the order | The same profile and colour on every repeat order |
| Cutting | Lengths cut to the order, anywhere from 0.1 m to 6 m | Track arrives ready to install; no sawing on site |
| Conductors | Copper conductors fitted into the insulating carriers | The conductor material is chosen by us, not by a subcontractor |
| Assembly | Feeds, connectors and end caps assembled, labels fitted | Parts of one system that fit each other |
| Testing | Insulation and continuity tested on every length before packing | Every length is checked, not only a type sample |
The plant makes about 50 km of track a month. Because every step is ours, lengths, colours and labels can change from one order to the next without a new supplier in the chain.
Six product lines, 90 parts in 308 codes, each with its own datasheet:
All track is built to IEC/EN 60570, with CE and RoHS declarations.
Buying from the factory removes a link from the chain, and it puts the checks in your hands. Ask any supplier, including us:
The full checklist is in how to vet a lighting track manufacturer in China.
The name is the promise: we make good tracks. A track is a simple-looking product that is only as good as its least careful step: a thin profile, a cheap conductor, an untested length. Keeping every step in one plant in Zhongshan is how we make sure none of them is the weak one. Buyers are welcome to visit the factory and see it for themselves; send an enquiry to arrange a date.

A manufacturer. Profiles, conductors, assembly and the electrical test on every length are done in the G-Tracks plant, which makes about 50 km of track a month. G-Tracks makes lighting track, track accessories and cable tray, and nothing else.
The parts of a track system, aluminium extrusion, copper conductors, moulded insulators and die-cast parts, are all made within a short distance of each other in southern China, next to a large concentration of luminaire makers. Zhongshan, and Guzhen town within it, is one of the main lighting manufacturing areas in the country.
